Last day of classes

After i have spent the last six years of middle school and high school my carrier at cm is over for academics at least. There are about a week until graduation and that whole week is free time sort to say, but i still have tennis until the thirtieth of may. CM has been a great experience that has helped me grow through my life but has enriched my education. There  were many great teachers at this school like Mr. Peltier and Ms. Malachowski and ll there other teachers. The last day of classes is hear and it has been so fast but so long. There are some however that i haven't gotten to know but am glad to say that it is all over and college begins. SO PEACE OUT CATHOLIC MEMORIAL  HIGH SCHOOL and onto UMASS AMHERST.

Wensday

No service yesterday actually came into school for less then ten minuets than left and went to work for a couple of hours and back home. Tried doing homework but just had no motivation with two days of school left after today.

Monday

monday was another boring monday with tennis practice however that was good in preparation for todays match agianst Malden Catholic.My weekend however was great as I and my partner Mike Gallagher won our first doubles match and after that relaxed at home. Saturday I woke up and went to work for six hours and then met up with my friend and took he T to downtown and ate at joes grill. Sunday i went to the Chris Donlon woofle ball  tournament and then went home and back to my grandmothers to sweep her sidewalk. Then back home and my six year old cousin came over.

Deadliest Catch

deadliest catch tonight on discovery channel. Its the third episode of the new and i think sixth season. With the captain fill lateest pass his sons Josh and Jake get a fellow friend and owner to take the ship for the season. However they are the last of the boats to leave the dock and a late start but with there magic they always seem to be back on top with crab. A new season with a new captain of the same crew, all the ships hope to remain safe on the open waters with two addditional boats joining the fleet.

Vacation

New Orleans was a great place to go to have fun no matter what ages you are. Throughout the trip we went to the lower ninth ward which was very much still destructive even though it is six years later from the major catostrophy. There are many houses that are rebuilt with the help of major actors like Brad Pitt. Even with his help there are still many families than ever living in poverty. After that we also went to the French Quarter, St. Peter's Cleaver and the WWII National Museum, Confederate Museum and other great food places. We also went to Preservation Hall for some Jazz. There are still many things that need to be done as the next hurricane season comes around.

April Vacation

spring break baby, lets go i along with fellow cm knights are heading up to New Orleans for a week. Looks like great weather is headed are way and fun fun fun all the time going to a couple museums and other places including all the great food. I plan to eat my way through New Orleans, and try anyhting possible no matter what it tastes like.

Wensday

Yesterday had to type a four page paper for stupid croteau's class finished it with a lot of b.s..
Finished that and had no tennis.

Monday

yesterday was just another Monday at catholic memorial as we had just another tennis match which moves the record to 1-3. I myself right now am in a slump that needs to stop to improve our record to 2-4. School was boring once again as we are closing in on ten days left. School as of right now is over and no one person can stop it. Today is tuesday and just another tennis match to win as number one doubles takes the stand agianst the mc lancers.

A Shot For Life

 A successful weekend for a shot for life and especially Mike Slonina and his crew members who have supported him along this journey, nut also to all the other volunteers from the administration and the parent council and also his mother who fought brain cancer and now is healed. Mike Slonina finished with 8101 shots and made an overall average of 70 percent. He fought through his pain with his ankle and his wrist and elbow that effected him through the twenty four hours. Some of the people that stopped by were fox 25 news, espn boston, two people doing documentary', based on the event and most importantly the mayor Thomas Menino. Thanks to all the hard work and support that everyone had to help and who donated. Thanks a lot.

Tennis Friday

Yesterday we suffered our first loss of the year as we fell to our rivals BC High. Eventhough we were missing our key player due to the flue we fought hard but couldnt come out on top. Today we take on the wolfpack of bls and missing our key star i will play number singles as i had to last year and hope to clinch a victory today.

Cm Tennis

The cm tennis team along with there two coaches took on Obryant tigers in Roxbury. yesterday was a windy day that made massive twists and twirls on the ball as it hit the ground. I was playing first double with Mike Gallagher and quickley lost the first set 2-6. The second set however went very quick as mike aced his way through his serving game with 6 aces. Suddenly we won the second set 6-2. then as the third set began we were close but didnt clinch our victory as we lost our match 3-6. Eventhough we lost our team won. congrats on our first victory.

Nadal Looses to Djokovic

Nadal looses in a final tiebreaker to Novak Djokovic in the final round of the Miami open on Saturday. Nadal being the number one player in the world has lost to the number three in the world and seems to be loosing hope to sustain the combativeness of the prime prospect in the world being the best of the best. If Novak Djokovic keeps his standings he will conquer Nadal in the next tournament and withhold the best of the best the number one in the world. Federer is loosing his steem to compete as the modern king in tennis as his stanima and fame is slowly dwindling down in which he has to conquer djokovic to withhold his old standing as he used to fight the epic battle of the greatest.

Tennis Match

First tennis match of the year good victory hopefully against medway. There is one thing however it is an hour drive which sucks and another hour back home. There is a uniform problem but everything will be situated once the coach gets to school however so far he isn't here yet so it means no class sweet another free time aka Rand R.

Monday

nineteen days of school left and senior year is over. Tennis season starting on thursday with an opener at Medway Highcshool. This should be an easy win for the knights as we come together as a team and not as individuals. Practice was good yesterday but could of used a little more two on two with the captains and or better players. After that i went to a shot for life meeting considering we are twelve days away and time is ticking to get everything done.

Bruins Clinch A spot in the playoffs

last night the Boston bruins faced of against the Philadelphia fliers and came out to win three to two. One of there players is now ranked twelve in the NHL for all time points with i think 1053 points in his entire career. The bruins have safely clinched a playoff spot and now look to better there season as they move through the following weeks leading to the playoffs and hopefully and bring home a championship to Boston.

As i was at school doing a great art piece i have already completed my community service at St. Francis house off of Boylston street in Boston MA. However i went last Saturday for a last visit and had a great time with the standard and or regular volunteers and serving the poor and or homeless one last time. I prepared food in which we made salad, sliced pears, and baked zitti. It was a good overall experience as it made me realize how fortunate we are as human beings and that we are greedy that we always need something more as they need it more than we do, and that we are so much more fortunate and don't take that into consideration until you go and experience it yourself and or feed the homeless and see their gratitude and appreciation of what you are doing for them. Service is good for all and should be encouraged in every school.

NJ Turnpike

The second  tour buss accident has occurred yesterday as it also clashed into one of the turnpike sign poles sending another ten people to the hospital. In the previous week there was another bus crash that ended up killing fourteen people as they were on there way to newyork the same way. Is this a coincident or fate?

Tradition Once Again

Aunt Jen from California came to visit and had dinner at my house with the whole family: bubba, mom, aunti lisa, aun jen, nana, stephen, myself and nick. Just like old times the eight of us eating dinner as one which hasny happend for three years.

College acceptances

So far i am four for four for college acceptances. I have gotten into Stonehill, Emmanuel, UMASS Amherst, and Manhattanville. Waiting still on BC, BU, Santa Clara, Northeastern, and Holy Cross.

8.9 Devestating earth quake hits Japan

the devestating earthquake of a crucial 8.9 has slamed Japan by destroying cars, bridges, roads, biuldings, farms, and anyting in its way. It came witha thirteen foot tall wave that plastered straight through buildings and floaded many homes and basements to the rood of houses. As it has gone through Japan there is a warning to all islands of Hawaii especially Hanalulu as its estimated impact was at 8:15 this morning. As well as Hawaii the impact is supposed to hit sanfrancisco as well. The evacuation of Hawaii has begun and hope for the safety of all those expecting the quake and those who have lost family members already.

This is the second earthquake in one week.

Fundraiser April 9th to April 10th at Catholic Memorial Highschool to Generate Funds for the brain tumor research center at Mass General Hospital. At this Mike Slonina will be shooting basketballs for twenty four hours straight. Jeopardy: Watson vs. Champions

As we all now jeopardy is an intelligent game show that takes a lot of training to be able to play the game with the right vocabulary and language. IBM created this robot called watson to play against the top two champions of Jeopardy. As a result Watson showed that a computer robot can compete with humans and process human instincts to respond and answer the questions. Heres the Video if for a closer look.

Facebook Good or Bad?

According to a recent article on January 28, 2010 a Nashville star Taylor Cummings was a basketball highschool star last week was expelled over someting that had been posted on facebook. Through his frustration from the past weeks at school he loged on to facebook and posted his frustrations to all. He said "I'ma kill them all. I'ma bust this up from the inside like nobodys ever done before." Taylor denied that this was real but school officials through the safety of there student body couldn't take any chances. This could of been the sensitivity of the school officials to cyber threats. There are many other situations were stuff like creating profiles to discriminate against one kid. Nothing like this however has caused much of a probleml.

how is it that kids who perposly continue to cyber bully only get suspended when he posts one thing and gets expelled. He could of been quoting a movie for gods sake.  Overall Taylor has apologized for his actions weather they were real or an act as he has no history of violence in a record and has attended that school for many years.

Was it really him who posted it?

Was he first bullied at school to make him post this? If so why hasnt that kid been caught?

Obamas visit to Boston

On march eighth 2011 President Barack Obama is coming to Boston to visit a technological school and go to a fundraiser dinner at the MFA. Suposedly he was supposed to go to madson park school to visit but for some issue he was unable to do so and is coming into beantown for a visit. Losts of people are excited to see the president in local areas on the eighth of march tommarow.
